We don’t just sell you a boat at Andy Seedhouse Boat Sales, we believe in giving a full back up service.

Storage

Once you have bought your boat you may want to remain here to get her ready for sea or just not be rushed - we offer storage in our yard @ £40 a month which includes reasonable use of a mains water supply & mains 240 volt electricty plus friendly, helpful advice if required. Also, don't forget our "Aladdins Cave" of used chandlery & fittings at a fraction of the cost of new for any bits & pieces you may need for your new boat.

Craneage/launching

We have a 6 ton crane on site so we can offer lifts on /off transport at £50. For boats without trailers, we can load onto one of our trailers & take your boat to one of two adjacent boat yards & launch for £130 - £150 depending on size. For boats with their own trailers from £75 – £100 depending on size. We can also "dangle" your boat from the crane for ease of painting/antifouling at £50 per day.

Delivery/Collection

We can quote for the smaller craft to be delivered or collected locally. For larger boats/longer distances, we have a very reliable & reasonable firm in Ipswich who will be glad to give a quote.

Moorings

We have a few moorings in very nice locations on the river Deben next to our yard. These are kept purely for our clients who have bought a boat from us & have nowhere to keep it. We think it only fair that if you have a boat you must be able to use it!! So, we offer these moorings at the very cheap rate of £40 per month.

Insurance

We have an agency with Navigators & General – they have an office about 100 yards from ours, so the form filling & silly questions are made easy!!

Repairs & Maintenance

Again, we know a few "resting" shipwrights who will give competative quotes for repairs, fitting out, paint/varnish jobs etc.etc. Engine repairs & servicing can be carried out by our local self employed fully trained mechanic.

I think we can justify calling ourselves "The complete boating service"
